At the New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Sameet Sheth earned his DDS degree and graduated at the top of his class. He was also inducted into the honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon in 2005. Dr. Sheth then began the pursuit of his certificate in Prosthodontics at NYU, which he completed in 2008. During his time at NYU, Dr. Sheth received the Kenneth I. Adisman Award for Excellence in Prosthodontics and served as Chief Resident. To further advance his education, in 2009 Dr. Sheth completed a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During his fellowship, Dr. Sheth delivered a presentation on dental implants in the maxillofacial patient at the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics annual session, for which he earned 2nd place. In 2011, Dr. Sheth then went on to complete a Surgical Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at NYU. After becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics in 2013, Dr. Sheth began work as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU in the Department of Prosthodontics in addition to working with our patients at Schweitzer & Schweitzer, PC. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Academy of Osseointegration, the American College of Prosthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
